Dr Tunis and Estela Hunt have taken care of my family and I for years. They have helped us recover from injuries as well as kept us aligned for our overall health. I’ve suffered some serious back injuries in my long life, and Tunis has saved me from a lot of pain and allowed me to continue to hike and garden and live an active life well into my 70’s.

Feeling great after being in pretty significant pain for nearly a week. 3 visits got me totally back to square one, but I will follow a more long-term plan to get my back into better alignment so this doesn't happen again (like it occasionally has for the past several years - the joys of getting older...). The staff is very friendly, and Dr. Hunt did a great job of explaining what was going on with my body, and how his treatment will fix things now and for the future.
Have been coming to see Dr. Tunis for years. He and his wife are both very caring, professional and knowledgeable chiropractors who will work according to your comfort level. They offer other services and ideas that have helped improve my health and posture as well.
Dr Hunt is incredible. I had a reoccurrence of the pinched nerve in my back. Within minutes I was feeling a whole lot better. If I could I would give them more than 5 stars.

One word I'd like to use before I begin this review is Stellar. When it comes to chiropractic care I would like to consider myself a bit of an expert. Not only have I been a patient I've also have been on the other side lol. So I'm sure you asking what do I mean by that I'm going to tell you 😁. Growing up I can remember hearing about chiropractor care here there and the terminology that would be used was I'm not going to a chiropractor I'm not letting him "crack" my back. now that terminology is like nails on a chalkboard to me. I quickly correct people saying no that's called an adjustment. I have worked for two chiropractors in Texas and I also worked at Parker Chiropractic College in Texas. That being said Dr Tunis is one of the most thorough chiropractors I've ever come in contact with and trust me I've been in contact with a lot of them working at the college. His background in chiropractic care and other studies that support it, is extensive. He has chiropractic care in his bloodline. His dad used to work out of that very office. That being said. My neck completely seized on me one night. I used to pass his office and always want to go there because it looked like a little house. I went to the website filled out the form let them know what was going on to me they got me and I believe the next day. From the moment he began to adjust me I knew that he knew what he was doing. I was literally crying real tears he didn't panic. He immediately started working to give me some relief. He talked me through what he was doing He made me comfortable and gave me one of the best adjustments I've ever had. And yes he did x-rays and everything accordingly. His staff is absolutely amazing. His wife is absolutely amazing. So now I'm asking what are you waiting for Go get your adjustment tell him I sent you and take part in some of that amazement.<br>#JesusChristisLord
I am very comfortable going to Hunt for Welness. Have been going regularly since early 2019. Office staff is stellar and Dr. Tunis and Dr. Estella are helping me maintain good physical health with monthly maintenance visits. Would definitely recommend them.

My 10 yr old son was a little nervous going in, since he’s never been to a chiropractor before, but Dr. Estela Hunt was funny and made the process easy to understand. He liked her immensely and he has said, “she made me feel better.”

I recently moved to a different location in the Charlotte area and Dr Tunis Hunt - Hunt for Wellness - was recommended by a family member. My new patient experience was great. The staff is very polite and friendly. I got X-rays first then the Dr went over them with me and discussed my treatment. Next I was placed on the back roller table for a couple minutes before the I was led into the room where the Dr adjusted me. At checkout I received a lil welcome bag which included info and a soft sided ice pack. It was great experience!
Estella is a life savior! I had an SOS when I coughed out a rib at 35 weeks pregnant. She made time to see me same day and got me aligned and stretched. I was sore right after the adjustment mostly from the sprain on my ribs but it’s been 24 hours and I am 60% better and less sore. Absolutely do not know what I would’ve done without her. If you’re pregnant, she is absolutely the best contact to have to keep you feeling good throughout your pregnancy. They even made me a pregnancy safe arnica and essential oil roll on pain relief oil to apply to the area that’s really helping. Lovely office and the staff were so amazing. Thank you, thank you!

I had an amazing first visit with Hunt For Wellness. Over the years, I’ve seen several chiropractors, and this was by far one of the best experiences. Scheduling was easy, the staff was friendly and helpful, and the office was clean and well-organized. Best of all, I didn’t have to wait—they were ready for me right at my scheduled time.<br><br>Dr. Hunt took the time to review my X-rays thoroughly and explain the issues he found before performing my first adjustment. I walked into the office with pain radiating from my neck into both shoulders and arms. After Dr. Hunt adjusted the areas highlighted in my X-rays, the nagging pain was significantly relieved.<br><br>I’m excited to follow Dr. Hunt’s plan for achieving long-term wellness rather than just temporary relief. Correcting my issues will require time and consistent visits—it’s not a one-and-done process.<br><br>If you’ve never tried a chiropractor or aren’t satisfied with your current provider, I highly recommend this office. Be cautious of chiropractors who don’t take X-rays or emphasize long-term health goals.
